Our data analytics team collaborates with all parts of Advidi’s performance marketing business, from affiliate campaigns and media buying to campaign pricing and general analytics, to ensure that data-driven insights guide decision-making across the company.

In the next few years, our team will focus on expanding and refining our analytics platform to enhance data-driven decision-making. You’ll have the opportunity to shape our data strategy and influence the development of advanced analytics solutions. In particular, you’ll be heavily involved in our pricing processes, a critical driver of revenue and profit.

Join us as a Lead Data Analyst and play a crucial role in expanding our analytics capabilities. We expect you to take ownership of our analytics strategy, data pipeline architecture, and the delivery of actionable insights. We believe in leaders who are both hands-on contributors and effective mentors to their team members. You will report to the CTO and manage a team of 4 data analysts.

Technology Stack

  • Google Cloud Platform - Cloud infrastructure and data warehousing platform (BigQuery)

  • dbt - Data modeling and transformation framework

  • Looker - Business intelligence platform for data visualization and reporting

  • Python - For visualisation and programming solutions

Responsibilities:
  • You are responsible for leading the data analytics team and its projects across the business.

  • Define and drive the strategic analytical roadmap for the team, aligning with overall business objectives and anticipating future data needs.

  • Manage your 4 direct reports, mentor them and help them grow.

  • Align analytics priorities with cross-functional stakeholders (Sales, Finance, Technology, Media Buying) to ensure data insights drive informed decisions.

  • Contribute hands-on to data analysis and modeling, while planning improvements to our analytics infrastructure (data pipelines, data models, etc.).

  • Lead the analytics efforts in our pricing processes, providing data-driven insights to optimise campaign pricing and maximise revenue and profit.

  • Maintain and continuously improve existing analytics dashboards, reports, and data models.

  • Proactively identify new opportunities for analysis and data-driven improvements, and help reduce technical debt in our data systems to enhance efficiency.

  • Work with and improve upon internally developed pricing software and tools to increase company efficiency and profitability.

Required skills:
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience post-graduation (data analytics, business intelligence, or similar).

  • At least 1 year in a leadership or management role (e.g. Lead Analyst, Analytics Manager).

  • Excellent SQL skills and experience working with large datasets

  • Experience building and maintaining data pipelines in a cloud environment

  • Comfortable communicating with business stakeholders and gathering requirements

  • Experienced with large-scale analytics projects and high-volume data environments.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using dbt to build and maintain data models and transformations.

  • Experience with Looker or similar business intelligence platforms.

  • Solid hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, especially BigQuery, for data warehousing and analytics.

  • Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and automation.
